The Campaign: #VenusOnTheGo in conjunction with Grey South Africa.
The Client: Back in 1901, King Gillette invented a safety razor that completely changed the way men shaved—and led to a new company dedicated to smooth skin. One hundred years later, that company introduced the original Gillette Venus razor, forever transforming women’s shaving.
The Idea: Venus wanted to show how their new Snap razor could fit into each and every woman’s life. 10 female influencers from across South Africa were chosen to share their December holiday Travel essentials which of course all included the Venus Snap. Golden facilitated the management of the influencers in the campaign and shot the flatlys and the shopping spree video.
The Results: Venus hit its highest ever volume share at 18.6% and value share 33.5% in December 2015 of total female shave care. Over 100 entries were raked in across South Africa with product being sold out across the country.
