The Campaign: Levi’s Curve ID
The Brand: The Levi’s® brand epitomizes classic American style and effortless cool. Since the invention and patent of riveted clothing by Jacob Davis and company founder Levi Strauss in 1873, Levi’s® jeans have become the most recognizable and imitated clothing in the world — capturing the imagination and loyalty of people for generations.
The Idea: Levi’s® needed a creative way to introduce the Levis Curve ID system. The Levis curve ID is a service all Levis stores offer whereby customers can be measured to find the perfect pair of jeans to suit their body type. Golden in conjunction with Andrew Berry from We Are Awesome created a campaign to showcase this service. The campaign included four influential bloggers who each represented a different style and way of living. The influencers used included: A video was made of each influencer showing a day in their life and just how their Levi’s fit into it, the campaign culminated in a giveaway whereby one of the influencers followers won a R10 000 V.I.P Levi’s shopping spree.
The Results: People became aware of the fact that there was a quick and easy way to find the perfect pair of Levi’s jeans that would literally fit them like a glove.
